What are the responsibilities and job description for the Powersport and Power Equipment Sales position at Premier Outdoor Power Equipment?
We are seeking an experienced and qualified sales professional to join our team. In this role, you will be helping on the sales floor with the majority of your focus on leading customers to find the right outdoor power equipment for their needs. If you have experience in the sales arena, mechanical mindset, and a positive attitude we would love to hear from you.
Primary Responsibilities:
- 80% focus on the sale of Outdoor Equipment (SCAG, Dixie Chopper, Exmark, Bad Boy, Hustler, and Echo products) to residential and commercial customers.
- 20% focus on Kawasaki Powersports sales of ATVs, Side by Sides, and Motorcycles.
- Drive follow on sales of accessories, routine service parts, and service of the customer's equipment
- Generate sales leads working with local municipalities, parks, churches, etc.
-Maintain a positive experience for the customer from start to finish in the sales process
- Prepare detailed notes on potential customers, provide follow up communications for potential and current customers as appropriate.
- Help maintain stock levels of mowers, hand held equipment, and other items in the showroom as needed.
- Be a team member that is fun and reasonable to be around.
Skills:
- Must - Sales process knowledge and aptitude towards the equipment that we sell
- Must - Be an outgoing individual that can show positive energy towards our customers and products we sell.
- Must - Be able to work independently to progress sales even in the off seasons. Requires someone to be internally driven to maintain focus while customers are not coming in the door.
- Must - Be comfortable on the phone, professional on emails/texts, and with learning point of sale systems, CRM systems, and taking digital notes of clients within the sales process.
- Preferred knowledge of residential and commercial outdoor lawn equipment

Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
