Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. The maintenance coordinator will receive and manage work orders until they are completed. . This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Responsibilities
- Assign work orders to vendors and monitor the progress of the work order
- Receive bids from various contractors to send to the owner for approval
- Ensure timely completion of the work order
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, work orders, and relevant documentation for future reference and reporting
- Determine urgent and/or emergency issues and escalate to the immediate supervisor as needed
- Order appliances for our property rentals as needed
- Communicate with tenants and owners via text or email with updates regarding their properties
- Inspect properties routinely to verify work is completed and to our company standard
Qualifications
- Be able to read and understand English
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to take direction/supervision and work cooperatively with others
- Ability to use computer and related software programs to accomplish assigned tasks
- Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook a plus
- Reliable transportation
