We are looking to fill the Assistant General Manager position we have available at our beautiful student property in College Station, TX. We would like to fill this position as soon as possible.
The Assistant General Manager we need would be responsible for heavy marketing on social media platforms, leasing, and resident relations for the community. Some responsibilities may include effectively computing, classifying, and recording numerical data to keep financial records.
Job duties for the Assistant General Manager are as follows: (to include but not limited to)
- The Assistant General Manager will perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to process resident rental payments and obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining property accounting records.
- Process late payments, eviction notices, and returned check memos.
- Process move-ins and move-outs timely.
- Assist Residents with problems and requests.
- Help develop and/or implement resident retention programs and resident events.
- Use proper sales technique by applying product knowledge to clients’ needs through effective communication of the property's features and benefits.
- Must be knowledgeable of all phases of leasing, resident retention, and marketing.
- Assist with maintaining records on ALL aspects of management activity on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis while submitting required reports by deadlines if necessary.
Required Education and Experience: (to include but not limited to)
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Four years of experience in property management (2 of the 4 years in a bookkeeping/financial role).
- Certificate or Accreditation in Property Management preferred.
- Courses in real estate or college degree preferred.
Job Requirements for this position are: (to include but not limited to)
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule
- Some weekends may be required
- On-call duty may be required
