Premier Pump & Power is a leading manufacturer of custom-engineered pump solutions. We specialize in large, trailer-mounted industrial and wastewater packages, delivering best-in-class performance, serviceability and built-in quality. We proudly serve thousands of customers nationwide from our headquarters in Vancouver, Washington and state-of-the-art plant in Houston, Texas.
In this role, you will contribute to both ERP implementation and IT support. You will assist in developing integrations between internal company software applications, while also administering and providing technical support for our IT systems, including our NetSuite, ADP, Confluence, Jira, Slack, Microsoft 365 suite, and Active Directory.
You will report to the IT Manager.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for IT support requests.
- Assist with NetSuite implementation, administration, user onboarding and training.
- Work alongside senior developers to design, build, and test functional software applications to meet specific business needs.
- Work alongside senior software developers to integrate and automate internal IT systems including NetSuite, ADP, Confluence, Jira, Slack, Microsoft 365 suite, Active Directory, and other internal tools.
- Participate in code reviews, maintain and update existing software applications and integrations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other departments as needed.
- Continuously learn and apply new programming skills and technologies to improve our systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience with ERP and implementation and administration, such as Oracle NetSuite.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Windows systems administration.
- Working knowledge of programming and software development in at least one programming language (e.g. Bash, JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, TypeScript, etc.).
- Eagerness to learn new IT systems and programming languages, both independently and as a member of the IT team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
