PRODUCTION TEAM MEMBER:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented production employee to join our team in manufacturing electrical equipment used on utility-scale solar projects. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and producing the high-quality production products. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a commitment to producing quality products, and an understanding of electrical systems and equipment.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 Per Hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture Electrical Equipment: Assemble, test, and package electrical equipment used in utility-scale solar projects, ensuring all items meet company and industry standards.
• Quality Control: Perform detailed quality checks at every stage of the production process to ensure that all electrical equipment meets rigorous quality and safety standards. Report and troubleshoot defects or issues.
• Attention to Detail: Follow technical specifications and engineering diagrams with precision to ensure accurate assembly and function of electrical systems.
• Adhere to Safety Standards: Ensure all work is completed according to company safety guidelines and best practices, maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
• Collaborate with Team: Work closely with production supervisors and other team members to meet production targets, deadlines, and quality benchmarks.
• Document Production: Maintain records of production processes, test results, and materials used. Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Maintain Equipment: Keep tools and equipment in good working condition. Report any malfunctions or needed repairs to supervisors.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in training and initiatives to improve production efficiency, quality, and processes. Suggest improvements to workflows when necessary.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical training or certifications in electrical or manufacturing fields is a plus.
• Prior experience in production, manufacturing, or assembly, preferably in electrical or solar-related industries.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, components, and safety practices.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time as required in a production environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, kneel, or bend for long periods.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds as needed.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions

PRODUCTION MANAGER

The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the production process within our manufacturing facility, ensuring that our products are produced efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This individual will report directly to the Director of Manufacturing and will work closely with production teams, engineers, and other departments to drive continuous improvement and meet production targets.

Pay: Depending On Experience (EOE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Oversight: Manage day-to-day production operations, ensuring that all manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and guide production teams, including setting goals, providing training, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and fostering a productive team environment.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in production processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Shift Reporting: Ensure detailed and accurate shift reporting, including production progress, any issues or delays, and resource management.
• Quality Control: Work closely with the quality assurance team to maintain strict quality standards and ensure compliance with both internal and external regulatory requirements.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and ensure that raw materials and components are available as needed to prevent production delays.
• Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and ensure the production area maintains a safe working environment for all employees.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, logistics, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any production issues or bottlenecks.
• Reporting & Documentation: Provide regular reports on production progress, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other metrics to the Director of Manufacturing.
• Training & Development: Continuously develop the production team by providing training, mentoring, and opportunities for professional growth.
• Sustainability Focus: Embrace and drive sustainable manufacturing practices, supporting the company's mission in the renewable energy industry.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in electrical equipment manufacturing or the renewable energy sector.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing production teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues efficiently.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with ERP systems and production software.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and driving operational efficiency.
