The Hilton Garden Inn Daytona Beach Oceanfront is located in the heart of Daytona Beach on the World’s Most Famous Beach! It’s an award-winning, full-service, 141 room hotel. We are looking for a hands-on Food & Beverage Manager – someone who’s a motivated, innovated, and detailed-oriented leader and operationally well-versed in all functions of the restaurant and banquets to join our team! This position also handles Catering Sales & Service.
As the Food & Beverage Manager, you will work with the General Manager as a partner and manage every part of the restaurant through close involvement in all operations, keeping things simple and making operations effortless and uncomplicated. You will monitor service standards to ensure that all services (including outsourced services) meet brand standards and guest expectations while improving safety, security and energy conservation. You will establish clear performance goals for employees, provide regular feedback and hands-on coaching and support, leading the team by working directly with them in an approachable way.
Acting as a Brand Ambassador, you will place the brand at the center of all communications, marketing initiatives and actions. Your primary functions will include leading and managing a staff og 15-20 associates, plan and manage the restaurant, room service, events, and banquets as appropriate in order to achieve guest satisfaction, quality service, compliance with policies, procedures, and safety regulations while meeting / exceeding financial goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate is likely to have 2-3 years or more of restaurant hotel experience in a similar managerial role.
