Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Business Development and Sales Manager to join our newest branch office in Jacksonville, Florida. The ideal candidate will spearhead efforts to diversify our client base beyond our foundational Navy-related projects, exploring and penetrating new markets within the construction and industrial sectors, while also driving direct sales initiatives to achieve immediate revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to identify and enter new markets.
- Leverage existing contacts within the construction and industrial industries to introduce Premier's scaffold and shoring services.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with new clients, ensuring a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Directly manage sales efforts to meet or exceed revenue targets, including preparing and presenting pitches, managing client negotiations, and closing deals.
- Collaborate with the management team to align business development and sales strategies with the company's growth objectives.
- Represent Premier at industry events, seminars, and business meetings to enhance brand visibility and network expansion.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in business development and sales, preferably within the construction, industrial, or related sectors.
- Strong network of contacts likely to require scaffolding or shoring services.
- Understanding of current market values for construction labor and scaffold rental equipment to ensure competitive and strategic pricing and service offerings.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with projects utilizing scaffold and/or shoring is preferred, but direct experience in the scaffold industry is not a requirement.
