What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Operations Analyst position at Premier Staffing Solution?
The Logistics Operations Analyst will work onsite at the logistic yards and will be responsible for supply chain operations. The responsibilities include, but not limited to :
- Liaison between our corporate entities and the logistic yards for problem resolution and escalation
- Implement and ensure proper procedures are being followed by the logistic yards
- Ensure that work instructions are being followed and are updated as needed
- Monitor existing and develop new Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to measure operational efficiency targeted throughput
- Provide root cause analysis and solution development for KPI's below target
- Work closely with internal and external customers to ensure proper shipments
- Customer focused while maintaining overall division goals Direct production material follow upResolving delivery issuesOrders calculation correctnessCooperation with suppliers, logistics provider and Archer TeamTransport utilization optimizationSupplier service rate maintenanceExcess and shortage inventory identification. Ordering cycle inventory ReportingRequirements :
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management / Logistics
- 3 years of experience in Supply Chain or Logistics
- Operational efficiency & through-put experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to strategize, analyze, interpret and summarize results and present large quantity of data with an attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks while working with minimal direction
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office / G-Suite skills, including query techniques Pivot tables, Vlook up, and graphing
- Self-motivated / results driven
- Ability to work in a fast past environment
- Travel maybe requiredStrong Communications skills in English is requiredProficient with Microsoft Office, Google Office and SAP. Knowledge in Power BI and Looker is additional advantageMinimum of 3 years logistics or supply chain experience in industrial environment is requiredPreferred material procurement experienceMust have valid Driver's licenseMust meet MFG physical requirementsWork different shifts and / or work weekends, including overtime.
