Sourcing Director Job Requirements:

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Director to lead our global sourcing function and develop strategic plans to drive cost optimization and operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the global sourcing strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Lead the identification, evaluation, and selection of suppliers; build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring terms are favorable and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sourcing team; foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Partner with various internal teams to identify sourcing needs and ensure alignment with overall business strategies.
• Monitor market trends, competitive pricing, and sourcing innovations to proactively adjust strategies and ensure the best value for the company.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with sourcing, including geopolitical, supply chain disruptions, and price volatility.
• Manage sourcing budgets, track performance against targets, and deliver cost savings initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a proven track record in strategic sourcing and supplier management.
• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, managing and developing a team.
• Extensive knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and global supply chain dynamics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex supplier relationships.
• Proficiency in procurement tools and software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in managing budgets and delivering cost-saving initiatives.
