Warehouse Order Selector

Job Title: Warehouse Order Selector – Refrigerated Foods

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Order Selector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selecting, staging, and preparing refrigerated food items (meat, dairy, produce) for shipment using an electric power jack or forklift. This position operates in a fast-paced, cold-storage environment and plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Use an electric Power Jack or forklift to select items from multi-level rack storage systems.
• Place products (cases, bags, containers) on pallets according to customer orders using order sheets or Vox audio system.
• Transport completed orders to the loading dock, wrap and label them for shipment.
• Inspect products for damage and ensure order accuracy.
• Rotate stock and ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) practices are followed.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas, remove empty pallets and packing materials.
• Conduct safety checks on equipment before use and follow all safety guidelines.
• Load trailers and rotate between selecting and loading as needed.
• Perform general housekeeping and secure all equipment at the end of the shift.
• Complete necessary documentation and participate in training and orientation.

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 6 months of sit-down forklift experience.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to meet physical demands, including lifting and working in cold environments.
• Willingness to work assigned schedule and required overtime.
• Previous warehouse or order selecting experience preferred.

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
