Job DescriptionPosition: Part-Time Lifeguard
Location: Stockton, CA
Season: Summer 2025 Possible Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend start
Hours: Approximately 15–30 hours per week (typically Tuesday–Sunday, 12:30 p.m.–7:00 p.m., with occasional extended hours for events)
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor pool activities to ensure safety and enforce rules.
- Check in residents and verify guest access.
- Warn swimmers of dangerous behavior and enforce pool regulations.
- Provide first aid, rescue swimmers in distress, and perform CPR if needed.
- Assist with pool maintenance tasks (e.g., water tests, equipment inspections).
Requirements:
- Certification: Must have or be willing to obtain a current Red Cross Lifeguard Certification and CPR/First Aid/AED certification before the season starts.
- Training Support: If you’re not yet certified, you can enroll in a training course (March or April). If you work the full summer (at least 200 hours), the client will reimburse half the cost of your certification.
Pay: $17.00–$20.00 per hour
