Job Title: ProductionOperator
Job Description/Requirements: The selected applicant shall have multiple responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Observes the produced parts and ensures that they pass quality inspection. This is accomplished by comparing the parts to the quality assurance booklet that is associated with that particular part. Therefore, must be able to adapt to the ever-changing products at a given station. In some cases, the operator will have to perform minor trimming to ensure the product meets the required specifications.
- Approved parts must be correctly packaged in boxes, which includes correct shipping labels.
- Responsible for collecting non-conforming material (scrap and runners) for reuse.
- Responsible for accurately reporting their production quantities, including scrap.
- Frequently works with other crew members, so must have adequate interpersonal skills.
- Responsible for clean operating area for safety precautions.
- Must be attentive to detail and have good manual dexterity.
- Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time and be able to lift 25 pounds.
