Primary Function:
Responsible for managing all scale of electrical projects for the company. Responsible for RFQ reviews, preparation of proposals, reviewing estimates and managing scope, schedule, and budget for projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage electrical projects in-house and in the field to include scope, schedule and budget.
- Develop detailed resource loaded baseline schedules.
- Develop detailed budgets.
- Conduct periodic project team meetings.
- Reviews all projects bid proposals, prior to issue, as assigned.
- Maintain accurate project schedules.
- Maintain accurate project Estimates-at Completion.
- Conduct project closeout activities.
- Responsible for managing electrical crews efficiently and safely while in the field and may work on projects to complete on time if needed.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year college; or five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to travel 30-50% of the time.
- Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, electrical specifications and drawings, P & ID’s, and instrument lists.
- Should have a working knowledge of ACAD
- Should have an understand electrical systems and components
- Must have knowledge of project management software, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
- Preferred experience with electrical design and estimating.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. The employee is regularly required to sit in a stationary position for extended periods of time while working at a computer. The job may require climbing of ladders and/or stairs. The employee will occasionally lift heavy pieces of metal, work with arms overhead, torso twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to stand, often for extended periods; the employee must frequently lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move weight above 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include strong visual acuity (with or without correction), color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Long hours (10 or more) are often scheduled, and job may require overtime.
Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet – typical of what is generally found in an office setting. The employee will frequently find it necessary to enter a manufacturing environment. The manufacturing environment is typical of that type of setting – employees may be exposed to inclement weather, loud noises, tripping hazards; and there may be exposure to sparks, welding arc, open flame, and moving equipment.
