- Engage in interdisciplinary discussions and reviews concerning scheduled patient treatments.
- Conduct evaluations for new admissions.
- Assess potential discharges and communicate regarding floor programs.
- Facilitate staff training while providing updates on patient progress.
- Program and supervise the use of adaptive equipment, including wheelchairs and splints.
- Maintain open communication with family members and facility staff regarding patient status and updated goals.
- Strong assessment and evaluation abilities.
- Proficiency in collaborating effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills with both patients and staff members.
- Experience in programming adaptive equipment, including wheelchairs and splints.
- A valid Physical Therapist license in Ohio is required.
