Key Responsibilities
- Engage in interdisciplinary discussions and reviews concerning scheduled patients and their treatments.
- Conduct evaluations for new admissions to assess needs and develop treatment plans.
- Analyze potential discharges and communicate relevant floor programs with team members.
- Provide training to staff and convey updates on patient progress.
- Implement programming for adaptive equipment, splints, and wheelchairs.
- Maintain clear communication with families and facility staff regarding patient progress, updated goals, and changes in status.
- Proficient clinical assessment and evaluation capabilities.
- Strong aptitude for developing and executing effective treatment plans.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with patients, families, and fellow staff members.
- Familiarity with adaptive equipment and programming.
- Ability to collaborate efficiently in interdisciplinary discussions.
- A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Preferred experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation environments.
