Job Description Summary
Premier Visions, Inc. is a privately owned, locally operated A/V systems installation and integration company with world-wide clientele. We currently have an immediate opening for an Installation Technician. Experience in audio, video, wire management, networking, automation, CCTV, and other technical systems are preferred.
Education and Experience
High school degree or equivalent required. Experience in construction, custom electronics, telecommunications, computer networking, and/or home automation systems preferred.
Organizational and Time Management Skills
Individual should be self-motivated, detailed oriented with good organizational and leadership skills and should have ability to deal with customers in a professional friendly manner. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with or without direct supervision or support.
Ability to follow a checklist, processes, and procedures to ensure job completion including testing and documentation to adhere to company policy and standards.
Language Skills
Ability to communicate effectively with team leaders, managers, and customers using written and verbal communications. Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, deal with several abstract and concrete variables and apply previous experience to solve problems.
Requirements
Valid Driver's License (clean driving record)Drug FreeClean Background CheckComplete background and drug screening will be performed. Position requires periodic travel for training and out of area installations. Also, periodic evenings and weekends may be required.
Compensation
Pay commensurate with background experience, certifications, and qualifications.
Benefits (after 90 day probationary period)
Paid vacations / paid time off: 1 Week per year after the first year and 2 weeks per year after the 3rd year. Paid training, certifications, and continuing education.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain audio/video systems, ensuring proper functionality and quality.
- Utilize hand tools and cabling techniques to complete installations according to schematics.
- Troubleshoot software and computer hardware issues as they arise.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on installed systems and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to manage project timelines and deliver exceptional service.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working in various environments, including construction sites.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
