What to Expect in This Role
As a BCBA consultant , you will be responsible for assessing, developing, and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for individuals receiving in-home behavioral therapy. You will provide direct behavioral interventions while working closely with families, caregivers, and a team of behavioral health professionals to ensure treatment consistency and progress tracking .
Collaboration is key in this role. You will supervise and mentor RBTs and behavior technicians , ensuring they provide high-quality behavioral interventions that align with ABA therapy principles . Regular meetings with developmental specialists, behavior therapists, and administrative staff will allow for a well-rounded and comprehensive approach to behavioral health support .
Your ability to train and educate caregivers will be essential in reinforcing positive behavioral changes and enhancing quality of life for individuals receiving services . You will also maintain accurate, compliant documentation of treatment plans and progress reports , ensuring that all services adhere to behavioral health standards and ethical guidelines .
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate must have a master's or doctoral-level degree and be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing. Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in behavioral health, special education, or ABA therapy settings is highly preferred. Strong problem-solving skills, organizational abilities, and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.
A valid driver's license with fewer than five points is required, and the ability to travel up to 25% within Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Cumberland, and Atlantic Counties is preferred. While supervisory experience is not required, previous experience mentoring or training behavior technicians or RBTs is a plus.
