Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Rehabilitation team to oversee a (12) twelve bed rehab to home unit. As a Registered Nurse employeed by Shirkey Premier Therapy Rehabilitation company, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the overall well-being and successful rehabilitation of our patients. This unit is the only unit you will work for Shirkey Premier Therapy, LLC.

Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and psychological needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients' specific rehabilitation goals
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor vital signs and observe for any changes in patients' condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate and provide holistic care
- Educate patients and their families on post-rehabilitation care, including self-care techniques and home exercises
- Assist with discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition from the rehabilitation facility to the patient's home or another care setting
- Provide support and guidance to patients in managing activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Perform specialized procedures such as gastric lavage, ostomy care, suture removal, and esthetic laser treatment as required

Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation nursing principles and practices
- Proficient in medication administration and monitoring vital signs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with discharge planning and coordination of care for senior patients is a plus
