Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant with a solid
understanding of inventory management. The successful candidate will assist in
maintaining accurate financial records, support day-to-day accounting tasks, and help
ensure proper tracking and reconciliation of inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in recording daily financial transactions using accounting software (e.g.,
QuickBooks, etc.)
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Help reconcile bank accounts, vendor statements, and credit card transactions
- Monitor and record inventory movement and assist with stock reconciliations
- Track purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory valuation
- Work closely with warehouse or procurement teams to resolve stock discrepancies
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records for audits and internal reporting
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles
- Familiarity with inventory control or stock management processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently under supervision * Experience in industries involving physical inventory (e.g., retail, wholesale,
manufacturing)
- Knowledge of inventory tracking systems or ERP platforms
- Basic understanding of tax and financial compliance
