About your new role:
Develop guidelines and training for manufacturing new technologies and find improvements on the production floor. Coordinate manufacturing needs with engineering and process engineering solutions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Training and development of all manufacturing employees at different levels of career advancement on all shifts maintaining uniformity of policies and procedures
- Develop and assist in updating work instructions and procedures on all new equipment and processes
- Assist in employee development plan of all manufacturing full time employees
- Hands on training in new technologies such as vision and Inspection station.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in methods of thermoforming
- Train personnel, from management to full time manufacturing positions, in improved process methods
- Aid in troubleshooting production problems
- Specify process requirements relative to new equipment or machine redesign to guide engineering department efforts
- Participate in design review of new machinery / technology
- Aide in the collection of feedback / data from operations
- Provide on-demand situational training
- Other duties as assigned
What you need:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- 10 years or more of thermoforming experience
- Complete understanding of thermoforming process
- Effectively communicate verbally, written and in electronic formats to co-workers and vendors.
- Ability to positively work as part of a team
