Manager of Sales - Auto Transportation

Peabody, MA (onsite)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead our B2C Sales team. In this leadership role, you will be responsible to hire and grow your team, drive sales performance, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to inbound calls and emails. The Manager will mentor, motivate, and guide the team to achieve sales targets, enhance customer satisfaction, and contribute to overall company growth. As the team leader, you will play a key role in shaping the team's success while maintaining a focus on delivering customized vehicle transport solutions that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of B2C Account Managers, ensuring the team meets and exceeds sales targets.
  • Set clear goals and performance expectations for team members and monitor individual and team progress toward achieving sales objectives.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and professional development to improve team members' sales performance and customer service skills.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships with clients throughout the sales process and beyond.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify new business opportunities and optimize sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Oversee the creation and presentation of accurate quotes based on customer needs and requirements.
  • Track and analyze team sales activities and performance using CRM systems to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with internal teams (operations, customer service, etc.) to ensure smooth execution of vehicle transport services and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, pricing strategies, and competitive developments to adjust team strategies accordingly.
  • Provide feedback and insights into leadership regarding sales processes, and potential areas for process optimization.
  • Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and the pursuit of excellence in customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team to achieve high performance.
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales and managing a team toward meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively present services, address client needs, and close sales.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • High school diploma or a bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Results-driven with a customer-centric approach to sales and service.
