MAC/JAMF architect

Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• JAMF Pro Management: Oversee and maintain the JAMF Pro infrastructure, including server administration, policy enforcement, configuration management, and device inventory.
• Application Deployment & Packaging: Package, deploy, and manage macOS and iOS applications via JAMF Pro, ensuring seamless compatibility and adherence to organizational standards.
• macOS Administration: Provide advanced support for macOS devices, handling troubleshooting, system configurations, software updates, and patch management.
• iOS Device Management: Administer and support iOS devices, including enrollment, configuration, security policy enforcement, and app deployment.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks, optimizing workflows within the JAMF Pro environment.
• Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices for macOS and iOS devices, including encryption, firewall settings, and compliance monitoring through JAMF Pro policies.
• End-User Support & Training: Offer Level 3 support for macOS and iOS-related issues, conduct training sessions, and create user documentation to enhance productivity.
• Troubleshooting & Incident Management: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues for macOS and iOS devices, collaborating with IT teams to ensure swift resolution.
• Performance Optimization & Scalability: Monitor and enhance the performance of JAMF Pro infrastructure and Apple endpoints, planning for capacity growth and scalability.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain detailed records of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps while actively sharing knowledge within the team.
