JAMF Pro administration, Application packaging, MAC-OS and IOS administration
Roles & Responsibilities
- JAMF Administration: Manage and administer JAMF Pro infrastructure, including servers, policies, configurations, and inventory.
- Application Packaging: Package, deploy, and manage macOS and iOS applications using JAMF Pro, ensuring compatibility and compliance with organizational standards.
- MAC OS Administration: Provide advanced technical support for macOS endpoints, including troubleshooting, system configuration, software updates, and patch management.
- iOS Administration: Manage and support iOS devices within the organization, including device enrollment, configuration, security policies, and application deployment.
- Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain scripts and workflows to automate routine tasks and streamline administration processes within the JAMF Pro environment.
- Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices for macOS and iOS devices, including encryption, firewall configuration, and compliance monitoring through JAMF Pro policies.
- User Support and Training: Provide L3-level support to end-users for macOS and iOS-related issues, as well as conduct training sessions and create documentation to empower users to leverage technology effectively.
- Troubleshooting and Incident Response: Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to macOS and iOS devices, utilizing advanced troubleshooting techniques and collaborating with other IT teams as needed.
- Capacity Planning and Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of JAMF Pro infrastructure and macOS/iOS endpoints, anticipating capacity needs and implementing scalability solutions as required.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps, and actively participate in knowledge sharing activities with team members.
