Job Description

Job Title : Pulmonary Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Specialty : Respiratory Therapy - Adult / General Pediatric

Job Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : 12-hour Days

Guaranteed Hours : 36 Hours per Week

Experience : Minimum 2 Years

License : Must have an active NM or compact license

Certifications :

BLS required
PALS, NRP, and ACLS preferred
Certifications must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross

Must-Have :

At least one successfully completed 13-week travel assignment

Experience with EPIC preferred

Job Description :

Provide cardiopulmonary diagnostic and respiratory therapeutic support for patients, both inpatient and outpatient, who require cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing, respiratory treatment, and / or ventilatory support

Adapt to a fast-paced environment

Work 12-hour day shifts with the potential need for weekends and holidays

Be flexible with floating within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles

Attend a first-week orientation, not to exceed 40 total hours, including EPIC training

Wear provided scrubs as required by the facility

Note that no holiday requests for time off will be approved for travelers

Additional Information :

Travelers must not have been an employee of the specified health system for 12 months from the last day worked to be considered for a travel position

Ensure accurate entry of SSN and DOB for onboarding purposes

Traveling pairs are not guaranteed the same schedules or shifts
