The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is responsible for providing rehabilitative occupational therapy treatments and services for our home health patients who need assistance and training in ambulation, transferring, gait training, and home exercise programs. This Therapy Assistant role will work under the supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist in accordance with the Home Health Plan of Care. The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is part of the interdisciplinary home care team including RNs, PTs, SLPs, MSWs, and Home Health Aides.
