Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as grooming, eating, dressing, and bathing, promoting their independence and dignity.
- Encourage residents to participate in activities that enhance their quality of life, such as exercise programs, social events, and hobbies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of resident progress and services provided, using judgment to report any changes in condition to management.
- Contribute to a safe and clean environment by performing tasks such as changing bed linens, cleaning resident rooms, and assisting with meal preparation.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide resident care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medication as directed.
- Collect and process specimens for testing, following established protocols and safety procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to resident needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent required; experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certifications a plus.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and compassion.
- Ability to lift, bend, and move with ease, as well as work in a fast-paced environment.
