What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at Prescription Compounds?
We are looking for a Receptionist that will answer telephones, file paperwork and complete office tasks.
The tasks will include greeting customers, answering phones, checking in merchandise orders, filing paperwork, preparing daily outgoing shipments, checking customers out, and organizing paperwork used for AR/AP accounts. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing, multi-tasking, and working with little supervision. Should be self-motivated and trustworthy.
Responsibilities
- Perform receptionist duties
- Manage phone calls, incoming mail, and outgoing shipments
- Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
- Create and update records and databases
- Monitor level of office and facility supplies and handle shortages
- Support bookkeeping procedures
- Schedule appointments
- Assist colleagues whenever necessary
Physical Requirments:
- Fine Motor Skills, Standing Position
Skills
- Able to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Enthusiastic and Productive Team Member
- Familiarity with office assistance procedures and basic accounting principles
- Ability to train and teach skills and techniques
- Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Access helpful.
