Key Responsibilities
- Ticket Creation & Management: Create, assign, and manage development tickets in Jira, ensuring clear requirements, priority, and deadlines.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with stakeholders and the development team to define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate daily communication across the development team to track progress, resolve blockers, and uphold project quality standards.
- Workflow Optimization: Develop and maintain efficient processes for monitoring and updating project tasks and statuses, leveraging Jira reporting and automation.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks early and develop mitigation strategies. Escalate issues as necessary to the Team Manager.
- Reporting & Documentation: Create regular status updates and project reports for stakeholders. Document lessons learned and best practices for continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., QA, Product, Design) to ensure alignment of project goals and seamless handoffs.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee adherence to project requirements, ensuring development tasks meet functional and technical specifications
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management or related roles, preferably in a software development environment.
- Proven track record of managing and organizing tickets in Jira (required).
- Familiarity with web development methodologies and technologies.
- Knowledge of PHP or exposure to similar backend languages (preferred).
- Technical Aptitude
- Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams about project requirements and timelines.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM) are a plus but not required
