Position Summary
The Associate Admissions Director, Recruitment plays a key role in the Admissions team, supporting all aspects of the enrollment process to attract and enroll mission-aligned students. This dynamic, marketing-focused role involves engaging prospective families through personalized outreach, targeted communications, campus visits, and Admissions events. Additionally, the Associate Admissions Director will develop compelling content for social media, the website, newsletters, and marketing materials to enhance the school's visibility. Working closely with the Admissions team, they will strategize and execute creative recruitment initiatives that showcase the unique strengths of our school.
Duties and Specific Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic marketing and communication plans in collaboration with the Director of Admission and the Marketing & Communications team to drive recruitment and enrollment.
- Create and maintain engaging communications across multiple platforms, including print collateral, the website, monthly newsletters, email campaigns, and Admissions social media pages.
- Develop compelling digital content (videos, graphics, email newsletters) that highlights Presentation’s programs, campus life, and distinctive educational approach.
- Facilitate personalized outreach through targeted mailings, emails, phone calls, and text messages from Presentation ambassadors to prospective families.
- Plan and execute key recruitment events (virtual and in-person), including local high school fairs, requiring some evening and weekend availability, especially during peak admissions season (September–May).
- Guide prospective families through the admissions process from inquiry to matriculation, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience.
- Represent Presentation at feeder schools, engaging with 7th and 8th grade students to introduce them to the school when necessary.
- Support the shadow visitor program by leading morning programming, coordinating student presentations, and training hostesses.
- Oversee the Admissions Student Internship Program, providing guidance and leadership to student ambassadors.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with feeder schools to strengthen the school’s recruitment pipeline.
- Manage and maintain the Admissions database (Ravenna) in collaboration with the Admissions team.
- Serve on the applicant review committee, evaluating applications and making recommendations for admission.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the Admissions team and school initiatives.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, sales, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in an external-facing, people-oriented role; experience in a school setting preferred.
- Experience working with high school students in an educational or admissions-related capacity.
- Spanish proficiency is a plus.

- Basic graphic design and video editing skills using tools like iMovie, Canva, or Adobe Spark to create engaging visual content.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, project management skills, and adaptability to manage multiple priorities.
- A positive, relationship-driven approach to guiding families through the Admissions process.
- High regard for confidentiality and professional discretion.

The Associate Admissions Director, Recruitment must be able to:
- Spend considerable time at a desk using a computer terminal.
- Travel to other buildings on the campus.
- Attend conference and training sessions within the Bay Area or in or out-of-state locations.
- Travel to different schools and events across the Bay Area.
- May be required to lift up to 10 lbs.
- Work Monday through Friday from 8:00a.m.-5:00p.m. with availability to work outside of normal office hours, with availability on nights or weekends
