What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health and Wellness (Guide) Coach position at Press Ganey Associates?
We are in the search for a knowledgeable and qualified health and wellness coach with excellent communication and time management skills, so you are comfortable and efficient in engaging a large spectrum of people across a diverse population. Our ideal match would have strong health education or experience with the ability to adapt health information, making it relevant for people at varying stages of interest and behavioral readiness.
You will work independently and as part of a local team of 6-8 coaches and will report to a local team lead. The ability to self-manage, work independently, problem-solve, communicate professionally with local client management, keep accurate records, and complete timely online data entry are important. As an established brand we have a lot of clients nationwide so you'll be paired with clients that suite your availability being your working hours being flexible.
What you'll be doing:
* Develop health goals for both new and existing clients
* Provide counseling as needed and document each and every client's progress
* Work with health care providers and develop health care plans tailored to each client's needs
* Support clients in their recovery or rehabilitation
* Keep clients motivated and on-track to overcome challenges
* Motivating and holding patients accountable during their wellness journey
* Provide support as needed and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
What you need to flourish:
* Must have a year or two of medical/clinical experience or in a similar role
* Must have a bachelor's or advanced degree in nutrition, counseling, or in a similar discipline
* Must possess the ability to work independently but be able to follow guided instructions as needed
* Must be encouraging and want others to succeed
* Should be competent with the use of computers and phone systems
* Being motivational/inspirational with a positive mind and attitude is highly important
Compensation
$11,120 Monthly - Salary is competitive and commensurate with prior experience. A comprehensive benefits package is included.
