Position Summary
Bridges is a voluntary program that provides in-home guidance and support for 18-21 year-old young adults who have transitioned out of foster care. Participants attend school, work, participate in an employment program, or have a medical condition that prevents them from such activities.
This position requires local travel and flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule.
Our Nationally recognized Treatment Foster Care Program was developed almost 40 years ago to provide intensive treatment services for children and adolescents in a family setting. Pressley Ridge continues to lead in the advancement of Treatment Foster Care services through training and consultation with organizations across the nation.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist with completion of the tier identification, VPA , case planning, and other Bridges assessments and updates.
- Facilitate enrollment, eligibility, and referrals for housing and case management needs in a timely manner.
- Ensure Bridges eligibility documents are maintained in the system- assuring eligibility for IV-E payments
- Participate in court hearings with participants
- Maintain case documentation (SACWIS)
- Attend regional information sessions with stakeholder and Collaborative members
- Demonstrate cultural competency and a desire to serve young adults, understanding of the child welfare system, LGBTQ identities, parenting young adults, etc.
Qualifications
- Clearances. State Police, FBI, and Child Protection per state regulations.
- Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
Working Conditions
- Physical Demands. Requires vision, speech, and hearing.
- Environmental Factors. Normal administrative office environment.
- Working Hours. Mon- Friday as set by the Program Supervisor.
