What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide support to trial attorneys handling personal injury cases in both State and Federal Courts
- Prepare legal documents, including general correspondence, motions, and objections
- Assist with discovery and document management processes
- Serve and file legal papers across various courts, ensuring familiarity with electronic filing systems
- Communicate effectively with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel via email and phone
- Organize case files to support attorneys during court hearings
- 1-3 years of experience working in a law firm
- Experience managing personal injury files
- Familiarity with contacting claims adjusters and managing client communications
- Knowledge of requesting, reviewing, and organizing medical records
- Experience preparing medical evidence for trial
- Familiarity with scheduling permanent impairment evaluations
- Knowledge of Court Rules and discovery deadlines
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
- Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Excel, Adobe, and NetDocuments
