Prestige Patient Transport is seeking applicants for a Facility Liaison/Special Projects Assistant. This position is regularly scheduled Monday thru Friday evenings. The candidate will work closely with the Facility Liaison/Special Projects Manager to ensure timely scheduling for both contracted and non-contracted facilities as well as private pay transports. Candidates that have the flexibility to periodically cover other open shifts are strongly preferred.
Job Duties:
- Answers a multi-line telephone system and gathers information from customers about the nature of the transport.
- Effectively manage a shared email, work email, fax log, and a shared network.
- Effectively communicates transport details to management when additional crews are needed or current shifts would need to be adjusted.
- Enters, maintains, updates and researches information relative to changes in scheduled transports in the calendar and other systems while multi-tasking on multiple computer monitors.
- Effectively handles incoming requests for service.
- Maintains a high level of detail with written documentation as well as verbal communication with facilities and families.
- Follow up with facilities, family members, and management throughout the shift as needed.
- Effectively calculates rates for both non-contracted and private pay transports.
- Facilitate long-haul transports between facilities, family members, and management
- Monitoring software for potential transports, entering an ETA when transports come available, and scheduling the transports that are awarded to us.
- Build and maintain a positive working relationship with other dispatchers and facilities.
Qualifications:
- Prefer 1 years dispatch experience
- Prefer 1 years in an administrative support role.
- Demonstrates attention to detail is a must.
- A problem solver that can manage information, priorities, workflows.
- Ability to professionally communicate with customers, co-worker, and management.
- Outstanding attendance and punctuality – as a 24-hour medical transport service, attendance is critical to meet our customer requirements.
- Ability to work with a computer aided dispatch system.
- A college degree is preferred, but not required.

Prestige Patient Transport, LLC is licensed under Ohio law as an Advanced Life Support (ALS) provider. We operate multiple transport units from our Milford and Mt. Orab, Ohio locations to serve the Tri-State area.
In 2019, Prestige obtained its Texas license as an ALS level service and opened its first office in Victoria, Texas. In 2021 Prestige expanded to San Angelo, Texas to serve Shannon Health, as well as nursing facilities and outlying hospitals.
In early 2021 Prestige expanded to North Carolina, obtaining their North Carolina ALS license, and opening an office in Murphy, North Carolina to serve Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital. Later in 2021 Prestige obtained its ALS license in Georgia and opened its first Georgia office in Blue Ridge, Georgia to serve Fannin Regional Hospital. In mid-2022 a second Georgia office was opened in Ellijay to serve Piedmont Mountainside hospitals in Ellijay and Jasper, Georgia.
In early 2022 Prestige expanded to Chattanooga, Tennessee, and currently operate at an ALS level. We serve multiple hospitals in the Chattanooga area.
