Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and painting various surfaces including: ceilings, walls, closets, frames, baseboards, handrails, banisters, sills, and existing painted doors. No spot painting or section painting is allowed.
Responsibilities
- Completely paint entire apartment (1-heavy coat) to include all walls, ceilings, closets, baseboards, frames, handrails/bannisters, sills, and existing painted doors - interior and exterior or any other painted areas not specifically listed.
- Check paint provided and mix if needed prior to painting. Painter shall not run rollers dry during the application of paint and must use drop clothes and clean any splatter or drips.
- Painter shall use paint provided and work efficiently and effectively to complete projects on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
- During cutting in or rolling, if painter gets paint of any sprinkler equipment or in receptacles, the painter shall clean that equipment.
Requirements
MUST be a residential or apartment painter who is able to prep, brush and roll. If you can't do all of these things, please don't apply
- Must have Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
Experience:
- Painting: 1 year (Required)
- Residential, Apartment, Dorm: 1 year (Required)
.Schedule:
- Day shift Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm
- Pay: $20per hour – bi-weekly
Our painting projects are ongoing and year round. Monday-Friday , 8am-4pm, dayshift. Must be able to provide your painting experience.
