Data Engineer
Duration: Contract - 1 year
Pay Rate: $41/hr
Skills: AWS, SQL (MySQL or PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB or Redis), AWS certification preferred

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, related
field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong familiarity with cloud-based and distributed databases (especially AWS).
• Expertise in managing and refactoring NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis) and
relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development
environments.
• Deep knowledge of domain-driven design principles and their application in
database architecture.

Job Description:
• Experience with database security practices, including encryption, access
control, and data anonymization techniques.
• Experience with database testing, including performance testing, security testing,
and data integrity testing.
• Proficiency in test data management, ensuring data consistency and compliance
with data privacy regulations.
• Familiarity with Database as Code tools and practices is a plus.
• Previous experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) is a plus.
• Software engineering or test engineering background is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative
environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
