What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controls Technician (ALL Shifts) Direct Hire position at Prestige Staffing Services?
We are seeking an experienced Controls Technician for direct hire opportunities on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift with highly competitive pay and outstanding benefit packages in the greater Fort Wayne area.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Program, Troubleshoot/Repair, and Maintain PLC systems
- Install and repair industrial electronic equipment and 480V 3 phase power distribution
- Process control systems, Interpret and understand the fault readings on controllers, PLC’s, and variable frequency drives, and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Provide shift support and leadership as it relates to electrical safety, controls, and equipment operation
- Perform projects, install new electrical equipment and assist in production
Experience/Requirements:
- 3-5 years maintenance experience
- Must be able to read electrical schematics
- PLC and drive experience a must with a good understanding of ladder logic and it's underlying principles
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
