Job Description:
A Cardiology CT Technologist position is available at our John's Creek, GA location.
This is a full-time opportunity working 8:30a - 4:30p, Monday through Friday.
- We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to perform CT and CTA scans according to protocols.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performing CT and CTA scans, including Calcium Scoring and Coronary Angiography
Managing CT schedule workflow and producing high-quality images for interpretations
Producing reports according to MD's interpretation and working with the front office to maximize schedules
Making reminder calls to patients to provide prep instructions and explaining and preparing each patient for CT exams
Taking all required safety measures to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff
Monitoring equipment performance and arranging service or repairs as needed
Assisting with ACR reaccreditation and preauthorizing scheduled exams
Requirements:
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and registered with the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
At least one year of experience in radiology, preferably in coronary CT and CTA scans
Advanced certification in CT is preferred, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
Ability to recognize emergent patient conditions and act accordingly, with proficient venipuncture skills and ability to prepare and administer contrast materials
