Maintenance Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through regular maintenance and repairs. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on various systems and equipment, including electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret schematics to assist in repairs and installations.
• Execute residential painting projects as needed, ensuring quality finishes.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance overall facility maintenance efforts.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff and visitors.
• Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding less experienced team members during maintenance tasks.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in maintenance tasks is a plus.
• Strong electrical knowledge, including the ability to work with various electrical systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience in welding is desirable but not mandatory.
• A background in customer service will be beneficial for interactions within the facility.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
