Accounting Clerk
Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and experienced Accounting Clerk.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.
- Maintain accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.
- Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation; issuing stop payments, payments, or adjustments.
- Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.
- Maintain financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Enter vehicles into inventory by posting accounting journal entries
- Organizing, copying and filing incoming new vehicle invoices and MSO's (titles)
- Breakdown and organize car sale deals , obtain any missing documents.
- Send bank contracts to finance institutions, if necessary
- Post car sale deals
- Payoff trade vehicles
- Post prep department invoices
- Prepare dealer trade paperwork
- Posting accounting transactions for various things
- Process warranty cancellations / refunds
- Process warranty statement reconciliations
- Scan accounting documentation
- All other duties as assigned
Compensation
$14.00 per hour
Education and/or Experience
Industry experience is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook is required. Administrative Writing Skills, Organization, Data Entry Skills, General Math Skills, Financial Software, Analyzing Information , Attention to Detail, Thoroughness, Reporting Research Results, Verbal Communication
