Duties
- Evaluate damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed.
- Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates using industry-standard software.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair options, timelines, and costs.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure all necessary repairs are identified and documented.
- Maintain knowledge of current automotive repair techniques and technologies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Follow up with customers post-repair to ensure satisfaction and address any issues that may arise.
- Stay updated on industry trends, including advancements in automotive diagnostics and repair.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive repair or service management is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, brake repair, and general automotive repair practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with clients.
- Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus.
- Ability to transmit information clearly and effectively to both customers and team members.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in estimating repairs accurately.
- Previous experience as a service technician or in automotive sales is advantageous.
- Knowledge of air brake systems is beneficial but not required.
