Brand Innovation Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced marketing professional to join our team as a Product Portfolio Manager Lead. This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive growth and innovation in our product portfolio.

About the Position

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in brand building, product portfolio management, and marketing experience in a CPG company or industrial company. They will be responsible for managing one direct report and will report to the VP of Marketing Innovation, Branding & Portfolio Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain fact-based business reviews to inform strategic decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing plans
• Manage and analyze market and consumer research to identify trends and opportunities
• Develop and maintain relationships with key retailers and customers
• Work effectively with advertising, promotional, research agencies, consultants, and vendors

Requirements

• University degree in marketing or commerce preferred but not required
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience with brand building, product portfolio management, and marketing experience in a CPG company or industrial company
• Experience working with North American retailers such as Walmart, Canadian Tire, Home Depot, AutoZone, or Napa
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent presentation skills
• Good written skills for creating business plans, proposals, and internal reports
• Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
• Excellent technical aptitude, ability to run analysis using tools like Power BI and Circana/Krunchbox
• Experience briefing agencies, evaluating their work, and providing feedback
• Proficiency in digital, social media, and e-commerce platforms
• Solution-oriented thinker, passionate collaborator, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset
