Description
Provides administrative assistance to all areas of IT at Prestonwood Baptist Church (“PBC”).
Responsibilities:
- Organize and administer office operations and procedures, such as preparation of purchase orders, check requests, flow of correspondence, daily/weekly/monthly calendaring, and reporting for all areas of IT
- Serve as a liaison between IT and other departments in the resolution of related day-to-day administrative and operational issues
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a good flow of communication and support
- Assist with answering the HelpDesk line and creating tickets
- Requisition and inventory supplies
- Assist with pricing products and services
- Assist with coordinating vendor relationships and scheduling of vendor related work
- Assist with scheduling maintenance calls
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of a Bible believing and preaching ministry
- Prior experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
- Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office products
- Prior experience working in an IT area or department will be helpful
- Ability to work at a desk with a computer screen for extended periods of time, occasionally perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, and lifting up to 10 pounds without assistance
