Work Schedule
- Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in handling important matters related to clients and office operations, showcasing your strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Respond to all incoming calls during business hours, maintaining a well-managed reception area at all times.
- Conduct phone intakes for prospective clients using a trauma-informed lens to evaluate their eligibility for our various programs and services.
- Schedule initial consultations for new clients with a Case Manager.
- Oversee the office security camera system to ensure secure access for members and guests.
- Procure and maintain office and kitchen supplies to sustain an organized workspace.
- Report any maintenance issues to the landlord for timely resolution, while ensuring the front office and kitchen remain tidy.
- Efficiently manage the collection and distribution of mail and packages.
- Provide administrative support to multiple departments, including the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Programs Officer, and Chief HR and Operations Officer.
- Document and manage the receipt of in-kind donations.
- A Bachelor's degree is required, ideally in Social Work or a related discipline.
- Outstanding interpersonal abilities, demonstrating a strong commitment to exemplary customer service.
- Professional and polished telephone etiquette.
- A warm, inviting, and nonjudgmental attitude.
- High level of discretion with the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding client information.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A collaborative team player eager to assist colleagues.
