Description
Coordinates Preschool Midweek AWANA at Prestonwood Baptist Church – Plano Campus (“PBC-PC”).
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and oversee Preschool volunteer teams for Midweek programs
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee Preschool ministry follow-up for visitors
- Ensure volunteer screening processes are followed
- Coordinate parent volunteers for Midweek programs
- Train, encourage, and equip volunteer teams
- Purchase and prepare items for Midweek AWANA
- Assist in onboarding volunteers at Kidz Central when scheduled
- Schedule LifeGroup substitutes when scheduled
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC-PC
- Must have a passion for children
- Experience in recruiting volunteers preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft products
- Able to work Wednesday nights, some hours every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with flexibility for weekday shifts
- Able to perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, use of stairs, and able to occasionally lift up to 30 Ibs.
