Position Title: Concrete Finisher

Location: Prestressed Concrete, Newton, KS

Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years old

Position Type: Full-Time

Description:

As a Concrete Finisher at Prestressed Concrete Construction, LLC, you will play a vital role in our production process, contributing to the manufacturing of high-quality precast/prestressed concrete products. This entry-level position is suitable for candidates who are eager to learn and develop their skills in a dynamic production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in various tasks related to concrete production, including but not limited to pouring, finishing, and curing concrete.

· Operate hand tools, power tools, and compressed air tools under the guidance of experienced personnel.

· Follow established procedures and safety protocols to ensure the safe and efficient completion of assigned tasks.

· Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and productive work environment.

· Adhere to company policies and procedures, including attendance and safety requirements.

· Operating small construction equipment, such as concrete saws or compactors.

· Assisting in training and mentoring entry-level concrete laborers.

· Reading prints and tape measure.

· Finishing with hand trowels and fresno in various magnesium floats

Qualifications:

· 3 years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or related environment.

· Ability to excel in fast-paced and physically demanding work settings.

· Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery, with the ability to maintain and operate equipment safely.

· Consistent track record of producing high-quality work while adhering to standards.

· Strong communication and teamwork skills, with experience collaborating in a production environment.

· History of dependability, punctuality, and adherence to workplace safety protocols.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
