Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work and a passion for delivering high-quality results. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring that concrete surfaces are finished to the highest standards, contributing to the overall success of our construction projects.
Duties
- Prepare and set up job sites, including the placement of forms and reinforcement materials.
- Pour, spread, and finish concrete using various tools and techniques.
- Ensure proper curing of concrete surfaces to achieve optimal strength and durability.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and masons, to complete projects efficiently.
- Perform tasks related to concrete pumping and tile laying as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and regulations.
- Assist in estimating project requirements and timelines for effective planning.
- Renovate existing structures by applying plaster or other finishing materials as required.
- Participate in hardscape projects, enhancing outdoor spaces with durable concrete solutions.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with concrete pumping techniques and equipment is highly desirable.
- Experience in masonry, carpentry, or tile laying is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and project management principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
