Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to support Afloat Training Group Pacific (ATGPAC) as a Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Radar System Controller (RSC). The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Aegis BMD radar doctrine, watch-team training, and scenario development. This role requires in-depth experience with BMD exercises, training operations, and the use of advanced simulation tools to enhance warfighter readiness.
ATGPAC is tasked with training and certifying all Pacific Fleet ships to ensure they meet evolving standards for naval and joint combat operations. This requires a dynamic, flexible approach to training, with ATGPAC delivering both in-person and distributed training across a broad spectrum of maritime missions. Special focus is placed on training shipboard teams to independently maintain and enhance combat readiness throughout deployment cycles.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
- Conduct computer-based simulations and Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) events in the ATGSD Battle Lab to enhance Pacific Fleet readiness
- Integrate live and synthetic training for ships and teams, including Final Battle Problems (FBP), Inport Training Exercises (MITE), and certification events
- Utilize Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE), Tactical Data Links (TDL), and the Mission Distribution System (MDS) to create realistic operational scenarios
- Collaborate with Tactical Training Group Pacific (TTGP) to execute Fleet Synthetic Training (FST) Program events
- Support the Distributed Training Architecture (DTA) under the guidance of Commander, Pacific Fleet (CPF)
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum of six (6) years conducting shipboard BMD watch-team training or extensive recent experience in BMD exercises, training, or operations
- Experience with JSAF and MARCI for scenario development, training, and operational support
- Qualified Radar System Controller (RSC) on an Aegis BMD or equivalent platform
- Completion of BMD deployment certification training
- Instructor/trainer or operational experience on a BMD-configured Aegis ship or within a BMD command/agency
Preferred:
- Extensive knowledge of Aegis BMD doctrine, tactics, and operational employment
- Familiarity with NCTE, TDL, MDS, and other distributed training systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a high-tempo training environment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
Security Clearance:
- Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance

Salary : $85,000 - $130,000
