Description :
Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to support the Surface Warfare Engineering Schools Command (SWESC) as an Electrician's Mate Contractor Instructor. This position is essential in delivering high-quality instruction, curriculum support, and training management for naval personnel.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to :
- Classroom & Lab Preparation : Set up classrooms, workstations, and labs before instruction, ensuring all instructional materials and equipment are ready
- Operational Checks : Conduct pre-instruction operational checks on training equipment, devices, and aids to confirm functionality
- Equipment Maintenance : Identify and report deficiencies in training equipment, providing recommendations for preventive and corrective maintenance
- Inventory Management : Maintain an inventory of instructional materials and student forms required for training
- Discrepancy Reporting : Document and report any material discrepancies that impact course delivery through SWSC / PMS 339 / SLC Formal Course Review processes
