The Mobile Therapist will provide evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals and families. The therapist will engage clients in their natural environments, working to remove barriers to care and improve their overall mental health and well-being. This role requires flexibility, cultural competence, and a passion for delivering client-centered care.
Primary Job Responsibilities :
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy services tailored to the needs of clients.
- Conduct assessments to identify behavioral, emotional, and social needs, and provide appropriate interventions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to address a wide range of mental health concerns.
- Deliver psychoeducation to clients and their families to promote understanding of mental health issues and foster resilience.
- Engage clients in their homes, schools, or other community settings.
- Advocate for clients' needs in various systems to support their mental health goals.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation in the EHR system in compliance with agency policies.
- Complete progress notes, treatment plans, and assessments within 48 hours.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed to achieve outcomes.
- Participate in clinical supervision and team meetings to enhance clinical skills and address client needs.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care and address complex cases effectively.
- Support colleagues by sharing expertise and contributing to a positive team environment.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices, licensure requirements, and emerging trends in mental health care.
- Maintain licensure and adhere to ethical standards as outlined by state and national boards. Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience providing therapy to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients, families, and community partners.
- Proficiency in EHR systems and basic computer skills.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and insurance to travel within Pennsylvania.
- Ability to pass required background checks and clearances.
