JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelors degree beneficial
- Proven Relationship- Builder with B2B territory sales experience; Ag-related preferred
- Solid knowledge of Farm Equipment/Machinery or Ag Parts
- Ability to train others and to provide equipment demonstrations
- Experience with pre-season order programs beneficial
- Ability to travel a 3-state territory as well as attend/support trade shows as necessary
- Preference for an individual residing within Eastern to Southeastern Iowa or Mid- to Western Illinois or Northeastern MO
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Price Bros Equipment is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to cover a Midwest US territory including Iowa, Illinois and Eastern Missouri. Primary responsibilities to include calling on established and new dealer accounts within assigned territory to sell current product lines of represented vendors. Additional responsibilities to include:
- Administering/supporting manufacturer sales pre-season order programs and manufacturer warranty programs
- Training dealer sales personnel on new products and providing demonstrations of current product lines
- Delivering/transferring products as necessary when normal shipping channels are insufficient
- Taking regular inventory of any/all floor-plan or dated inventory
- In the event we price or quote equipment to retail businesses or end-users, accommodating dealer margin into pricing structure
- Collecting receivables pursuant to pay plan of organization
- Attending trade shows and industry seminars
- Conducting business in a professional, high integrity manner
